Using a combination of LiDAR and imagery captured by Photomapping, virtual worlds can be created. These virtual worlds can be viewed as fly-throughs allowing you to observe more aspects of the project area. Photomapping have produced fly-throughs for mine sites which allow for features to be viewed at various scales.
3D visualisation also includes the creation of DSMs which greatly reflect the world in which we live. 3D visualisations such as this provide more realistic and whole views of project areas.
Imagery captured by the ADS80 aerial camera can be processed to produce 3D landscapes based on the location of each individual pixel.
